Short version

Your birth date, birth time and birth place never leave your device. Every calculator on this site computes entirely in your browser, and the birth details you enter into one are never sent anywhere.

The AI assistant is the one feature that talks to a server built for it, because answering a question needs a language model and that model runs elsewhere. It is sent your question and figures worked out from your chart, such as which sign a planet is in and when a period runs. It is never sent your birth date, your birth time or your place of birth.

Every page, including the calculators, loads Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which see the pages you visit but never the birth details you enter. See Analytics and advertising below.

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell or share personal information.

What we collect

Birth data, meaning your date, time and place of birth, is processed entirely within your browser. It is not transmitted to us by the calculators, and it is not transmitted by the assistant either. This is a property of how the site is built rather than a promise about how we behave: the request the assistant sends has no field in it for a birth date, a birth time or a place, so there is nothing for one to be put in.

Our hosting provider records standard server logs when your browser requests a page. These typically include an IP address, the page requested, a timestamp and a browser user agent string. They are generated by the hosting infrastructure for security and reliability, not by us, and we do not use them to build any profile of you.

Analytics and advertising

This site uses Google Analytics to see which pages get visited and Google AdSense to serve advertising. Both load on every page, including the calculators. Neither is told your birth date, birth time, birth place or anything a calculator computed: they run as ordinary, unmodified third-party scripts with no connection to the calculation code, so there is nothing in this site wiring a birth detail through to either of them.

Google Analytics and Google AdSense set their own cookies and may use device identifiers to measure traffic and, for AdSense, to personalise which adverts you see. That data is collected and processed by Google under its own privacy policy, not ours. You can control ad personalisation for your Google account through the Google Ads Settings page, and most browsers let you block or delete these cookies directly.

What is stored on your device

The site uses your browser local storage for four things: your choice of light or dark theme, any birth charts you have saved, your chat conversations, and whether the chat sidebar is open.

Saved charts contain the birth details you entered, including date, time, place name and coordinates. Chat conversations contain everything said in them. Both are held only in the browser you used, are readable only by this site, and are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.

You can remove a saved chart or a conversation from inside the site at any time, and clearing your browser data removes all of it at once. Because this storage is per browser, a chart saved on your phone will not appear on your laptop.

An earlier version of this page said local storage held only the theme setting. That was written before saved charts and the chat existed and was not updated when they were added. It was wrong, and this section is the correction.

The AI assistant

When you ask the assistant a question, three things are sent: the question itself, the conversation so far, and figures calculated from the chart you have attached. Those figures are things like the sign and degree a planet occupies, which house it falls in, its dignity, and the start and end dates of your dasha periods.

Your birth date, birth time, place name and coordinates are not among them, and are never sent.

One caveat worth stating plainly rather than glossing over: dasha period dates are derived from your birth moment, so someone holding them could work backwards to an approximate birth date, roughly to the precision of the birth star. They carry no time of day and no place. We send them because a question like "when does my Jupiter period begin" cannot be answered without them, and you can see the same dates printed under every answer.

The request goes first to our own relay, which exists only to hold the key that the model provider requires and which cannot be published in a web page. The relay keeps no database, writes no log and retains no transcript. It reads the request, passes it on, streams the answer back and holds nothing.

From there the question and the figures go to the company that runs the language model. This site currently uses that provider's free tier, and under its terms the content sent to it, along with the answers generated, may be used to improve that company's products and services and may be reviewed by a person working for them. If you would rather nothing you type reaches a third party, use the calculators, which send nothing at all.

Your conversations themselves stay in your browser. They are not uploaded, and we cannot read them.

Your rights

Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, gives you rights over personal data held about you, including access, correction and erasure. Visitors in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area have comparable rights under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR.

In practice there is very little for us to act on, because we retain nothing. Your birth details and your conversations are on your own device and under your own control, and you can delete them from inside the site or by clearing your browser data. The assistant request passes through our relay without being stored, so once an answer has been returned there is no copy of it here to retrieve, correct or erase.

If you believe we hold something about you, contact us and we will look into it.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone. The calculators require no age declaration because they send nothing anywhere. The assistant is not intended for use by children, and we ask that a parent or guardian decides whether it is appropriate.

Changes

If the site adds a feature that sends, stores or retains anything new, such as accounts, analytics or advertising, this page is updated before that feature goes live and the date at the top changes. That has been true in one direction and not the other: the assistant is described here before it was switched on, but the note about saved charts and conversations went unwritten for some time after those features shipped. Both are now described above.

On 26 August 2026, Google Analytics and Google AdSense were added site-wide, including on the calculator pages. The Analytics and advertising section above was added the same day to describe them.

If we change which company runs the language model, or move off its free tier, the section on the assistant will say so.
